We develop an angular response function for NGRM, using GRAS/GEANT4. We then retrieve the anisotropy indices of the parametrized pitch angle distributions and convert the Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich 9 MeV proton measurements to omnidirectional fluxes.

A Trident of Timepix3 Radiation Monitors was deployed at the Large Hadron Collider in the tunnel of Interaction Region 2, to observe or exclude high LET particles in the accelerator environment during ion operation.

Single Event Effect measurements are performed in an electron-beam-generated photoneutron field representative of the environment produced by synchrotron radiation at the FCC-ee. Results confirm variability in SEE responses, informing radiation hardness assurance strategies for FCC-ee electronics.

Launched in 2013, SATRAM is a single-layer Timepix radiation monitor on Proba‑V measuring Galactic Cosmic Rays in low‑background orbit regions. Stopping‑power spectra at high incident angles resolve ions up to Z=11 via Bethe–Bloch analysis formally.

PSI-PIF proton-beam measurements were benchmarked against GEANT4 11.3.0-based MRADSIM simulations for MGS-1 and JEZ-1 Martian regolith simulants. Calibrated LYSO responses validated proton energies, while chi-square analysis identified the best-converging hadronic model for Martian shielding studies.

We study nuclear spallation using beams at 1–10 GeV directed onto tungsten & copper targets of varying lengths. Results show where spallation predominantly occurs and how target geometry, beam polarity, energy and different particles affect spallation.

The RadMon-on-ISS experiment validated the Scalable Radiation Monitor as a compact technology demonstrator for in-flight radiation awareness, showing stable long-term operation onboard the ISS and delivering meaningful measurements of both cumulative dose and single-event activity.

We demonstrate that a single-layer Timepix3 detector in LEO resolves directional signatures of space radiation without a stacked telescope. Mean elevation angle mapping reveals a pronounced proton and heavy-ion enhancement over the South Atlantic Anomaly.

Bit flip effects induced by ultrashort GeV-range LWFA electron beams and reference continuous X-ray radiation are observed in conventional static memory modules, making LPA a candidate for R2E and proxy SEE tests of electronics.
